HONORS SEMINAR

The purpose of this seminar is to provide eligible students the opportunity to develop a detailed research paper relevant to the communication field and, upon adequate completion of the course requirements, graduate with honors in Communication and Journalism and receive membership to Lambda Pi Eta, the communication studies honors society of the National Communication Association. A final course grade of B+ or higher is required to graduate with honors. As a class we will also examine a number of studies that have had a significant influence on communication scholarship.
